Are the fuel pumps in the 65bhp and the 80bhp mk2 diesel clios the same?

Everyone says Apex are s**t which confuses me cause after they settle they don't knock and the ride is great for what they are

Yes exactly that, it sounded really bad but ive had them around a month or 2 and they are fine now absolutely no knocking, infact the front seems a bit higher than the back.. Just give them time to settle they sound horrible when they knock but they wont make a sound after a few weeks

I assumed as much but a nice stainless will last much longer and look nicer, each to our own though :)

I have Apex 40mm the rear springs knocked for about 2 weeks driving about 2-4 hours a day and eventually they will settle and stop knocking :)

Just curious, why would you rather a standar exhaust?

Thanks :) yea a few people have said that, might spray them black in the future but im happy for now. Thinking about a stainless steel exhaust but im not sure :/ I love a bit of exhaust noise and the look of a nice shiny exhaust but diesel..

Not sure what it was as it was too dark to see but from what i could see it was a black mk2 Clio with mint wheels and looked lowered, some sort of white track sticker on the back window, was driving with a Fiat 500 (don't quote me on that) with a loud exhaust. I was standing outside my black...

I think diesels do sit a little different, i had to get springs made for the dci version as the springs from a petrol clio would'nt be strong enough or something.

Yea i agree about showing that i have drums i hate having drums but im not bothered about the colour i just wanted to cover the horrible rust so im happy :) Yes i have thought about a remap but im not sure cause the car has done so much mileage so I don't want to put too much strain on the engine.
