It's a hell of a lot of power on a light FWD. Plently of wheel spinning in 2nd I imagine?! Sounds like a cracking project anyway Craig. Get a few pictures up pal!
Did you have to get the bumper off to change your side light? I tried replacing mine on drivers side that blew and gave up after half an hour of fishing. Ended up just getting rid of both side lights
Washers both front and rear were working fine one minute. Then the next there was a problem. The rear is still working fine. When I attempt to wash the front though, the back works instead! What's all that about anyone? And how can I solve it?
It only needs replacing if it's knackered...but if it needs doing then you have to get a new cam belt and aux kit. A good mechanic (birchdown) will tell you if it needs doing when they strip your car down. Birchdown said mine was fine and so didn't need replacing. I believe a knackered pulley...
Lads, I am currently sat in Birchdown's van in Chester while they do my cambelt, aux and dephaser (if necc after an inspection). Will be about £600 for the lot on my 172 with air con. The dephaser is £140 of that £600 but may not need doing. It's my first time here but the guys seem absolutely...
Well to be honest mate, I think it's a 172. It's got Xenons and all the RS interior. Surely nobody would go to that trouble for a standard Clio?! I've had a sneaky peak and the exhaust is actually fake. It looks like a 182's but the right hand exhaust is just for show. Very odd.
Oh right. So there was an overlap? There's a guy near me with what looks like a 182. But it has black headlights, not grey like most 182's. It's a 03 plate. Will that be a 172 that's been played with? Or either?
