Not a fan of tints but I think the exhausts look alright. At least he's done a proper job with them. Still, if it's not an 'accepted mod' then expect a beating on this site
Re: Selling liquid yellow 182, help with value please :D
Seems a bit steep to me mate. I appreciate all the time and money you've spent on it but I don't think you'll get that much. Quite a few miles which will put people off too. Not that it should if it's been looked after. Get on Trader or...
Scummy b*stards. They must have had their eye on your car. It's hardly a spur of the moment crime! My mate had his Fiesta ST spoiler nicked a while back...seriously fecking annoying!
Basically I can only unlock my car using the fob when I'm stood right next to the car. If I stand 2 meters away it will not work. It's 100% not the key batteries as they are brand new. The key is also brand new. The guy at Renault told me it may be the alarm causing the problem. An interfering...
The key I got with my 172 worked perfectly fine for about 3 weeks. Then for some reason I could unlock the car but the key wouldn't work in the ignition. It would take me 10 minutes just to get the car started. Eventually had to fork out for a new key. £180 but it solved the problem
Thinking of buying one and just torching the c**t after this.
Ha, no I appreciate everyones views and yes, I had had a beer last night. I just thought it would be something different. That's what most of us want in our car in some respect isn't it?
And as for the abuse...you're on a frigging...
Haha, cheers Roy.
Yeah I know it's a daft idea. Nobodys denying that. As for getting a Gordini...yeah fair point. But why does anyone get a Trophy? There's definitely no logic behind basically paying over the odds for a 182
Sorry iPhone being a dick. Yeah, part of this whole venture was based on the fact that it would cost me nearly nothing, expend no time or effort. It's simply painting a red car, blue.
Yeah I hate red because I'm a blue. If you had a 'footballing' allegiance I'm sure you'd understand.
Part of the point of the post was to exude andy time, cost or effort f
Marc, firstly; spell your own name like a man.
Secondly, yeah I hate red and it just so happens that one of my fave cars only comes in that colour. It's called 'being a fan' and I'm not the only one.
Because that's the colour they were made in. As someone said before. You're buying this car for it's performance, nit the paint colour...surely!!!
I could understand the disgust if I was changing the engine. But the colour of the metal/plastic shell...come on!
Thanks 2 live!
I know what people are saying. Get a 182 with Sachs + Recaros. Well that's about a grand at least.
Plus I do want a trophy because of what it is...a Trophy. So what if it's blue? This will be a Trophy in immaculate condition with a one off colour.
Thanks Jacko, I do agree with most of that mate. However if I have a Trophy along with all of the documentation then nobody could dispute it's a Trophy.
I agree I may not sell it on for as much as a totally standard Trophy but that isn't a concern for me. Don't get me wrong, I don't have money...
I expected a negative reaction to be honest. I don't know whether the consensus is 'why waste your money' or 'don't ruin a Trophy'. The former, don't worry about it, it won't cost you a penny. The latter, I can assure you this Trophy will be better looked after than many of them out there at the...
Haha. I know it's a daft idea. I'm not denying that. The re-spay cost isn't too much of an issue so let's forget that as a negative. My mate does it for a living. The reason for not getting a 182 is the same as anyone else getting a Trophy. It's a bit more special.
Probably won't be for about a year or so but I'll probably looking to get a Trophy at some point. I'm an Everton fan and driving a red car is not an option. What would people think to spraying a trophy blue...and keeping everything as standard? I would normally say that spraying a limited...
