it takes you 45mins to remove an engine, get it stripped and assess the damage.
just do a full service of the internals and check that everything is fine.

imo you should go for option 3. Make sure the engine is fine and just stick to the current spec (not a bad spec) with a RST map it should run as sweet as anything.

aye no worries, dont expect any sort of Plato style driving. Cars suspension wont be setup and we havent done many track days.
