cheers mate, i was kinda swingin the valvers way as its a more practical option for me as i do a lot of motorway miles. problem is, in the back of my mind ill always be thinkin, "i could have had a willy", but if i think logically about it a wily at 3k is a daft investment isnt it? -->BV

as a neutral party here i didnt know the mk1 was faster, thought the mk2 was but hey-ho!!! on the looks side i like the mk1, think it looks meaner thean the mk2, has more road prescence. IMHO of course. -->BV

right let me explain, i will have (pending the sale of my mr2) 3k to spend on a car, now ive had a valver before and loved it, but rang for an insurance quote on a will1 today just to put me off the idea, when to my suprise, it came iut 200 more than the valver!!!!! now my dilemma is: 1...

mate, although i dont agree with changing the physical looks of a will, cause they are the best lookin hot hatch on the road STILL, i think engine mods are amust to entice i fer more of those hodden ponies that the willy cries out for and hasdonesince it was unleashed on the public. go for it...

went through lytham to get back to manchester the other day and ended up in leyland, so decided to skank a chinese out my mum and dad, ha ha. tis nice lytham, only really know it for the big green with a windmill on it!!! cant wait to get another valver, :) -->BV

i know its to the sellers discretion, but i was just wondering what a fair price is for a late L to N reg valver is, taking into acount that thecar woud be fairly well looked after and have perhaps below average mileage??? ive been on the trader and it seems that there is such a wide spectrum...

had a magnex back box on my valver mate, sound great, but got complaints from rear passengers about it droning at low revs when accelerating, they said it felt like it was crushing their heads!!! oh well what do they know anyway!!! -->BV

How much would i be lookin at spendin on a valver with a willy engine in it??? ive recently sold my valver for an mr2 n/a and wish i never did it, my valver was so much more fun to drive and actually felt quicker in a straight line, i prefer the looks of the mr2 but miss the sound of my magnex...

ive got a black valver from 93, and yes it gets derty quickly, but give it a coupl;e of hours of your time and it will always make you smile when youve finished. -->BV

just a suggestionhere about the gearbox mate, the gaitor on my corsa was tightened at the top with a tie-clip(one of those black plastic things), this is on the inside and the gaitor is then folded over the top. Try lifting the bottom of the gaitor up to see if the clip is rattling against the...
