That's fair enough then, nothing boils my piss more than people wanting something for nothing.
I had a mate who was charged £700 for a service, 2 tyres and disks and pads on a 2 year old car. That's expensive.
Have you ever changed either of those items?
...Have you ever actually tried making a living from fixing other peoples cars?
Lets say he has spent 2 hours of his time on it, that's £49 per hour. Out of that has to come his rates, the wages he pays his staff, the cost of the tools he uses, all...
Next weekend yes, but hopefully outside of your working hours!
New wheels won't happen, like the Avus wheels tbh. They need powder coating though, since the finish has bubbled and corroded in places.
Anonymity is nice at the minute. It's also a hell of a lot nicer to take a group of 4 ladies...
Nope, Clios still on the drive, just taken the tax and insurance off it. Contemplating a trailer and getting into track days
Awesome! It sounds so good revving it out to 6500-7000 revs. But the fuel gauge moves every time I do it :dapprove:
Knows it. Next service is 3300 miles and its coming...
Cheers gents!
The 4wd is going to make winter a lot easier this year indeed! Not noticed the size of the avant yet, but then again I've not really tried parking or maneuvers in it. Certainly don't notice it's there in normal driving!
Nice to see it back looking straight again! Followed one through the drive thru the other night, and while I was practically orgasming, my mate didnt have a clue what it was.
Must catch a few people out who aren't aware?
Front bumper has aged badly. But from every angle they really don't look like 11 year old cars.
I love how subtle it is as well. Drove through town earlier and no one, not a soul looked at me. Was a weird feeling!
Jesus, I can hear you all the way from your southern cesspit!
It is a little bit funny, I'll agree. I'm surviving on a lot of hope right now!
You're not the only one!
Sounds like its being true to form and acting french!
I've actually changed my mind about the tub on 2118s. I dont think they suit it, and I really like 2118s on a mk2!
So with the Clio becoming more and more unreliable, and a list of things catching up on me that needed fixing, I packed it in.
Been looking for one of these for a good 18 months now, but only seriously started looking for the last couple of months. Seen a few interesting ones pop up for sale in...
