most people dont bother , but cant you get away with OE equipment ? look uner see if the looms are there ? if soo getr genuine set plug them in and get a stork !

Depends on budget but dont be fooled onto the apparent 10bhp adding k-tec, dont get me wrong its good but expect more like 4, if your budget is tight panel filter in standard box or v6 box with a filter !

common fault is snapped abs rings on the drive shafts check the fronts if you know what your doing get a light and jack up the car spin the front wheels and check for splits in the abs ring they may look normal but check them well , ive done about 10 this year!

for a proper rain sensored one ie with the sensor on the screen an uv tint your talking about £250 i think i was quoted ! never had mine done just had a chip repaired , best thing you can do is ring about !!

How do you get into the 'hidden' display ? and thats a little early my clio light doesnt ever come on, it did once when i collected it , but i think its normally when you have less than 35 miles which i dont run that low ! definitely not 96 miles , maybe a sender fault ?

Id avoid the mini, they are terribly un-reliable , gearboxes are shite and break, coolant hoses, cambelts, water pumps exhausts etc , my ladys has one and it has 30k full service history on a 05 reg and does nothing but break ! and i get stuck working on it and in that term they are dog shite...

I had one in my old fiesta , the novelty soon wheres off ! and you need leave your car running all the time for the dvd player ! i ended up taking mine out was more annoying and sound wasnt amazing !! But if you insist i had a beatz one and appart from not having great sounds it was ok

personally id go with the 182 , the 172 looks okay but 90k and hows its been modded ie a bike exhaust to me doesnt appeal ,the cars worth around 2-2.5k imo The 182 is lower mileage looks well looked had cambelt a couple of years ago but looks tidy plus later reg and low mileage means better...

What colour is the car? and i spose if thats the way you want to go , do it , many people do paint wing mirrors and towing eye covers etc and stuff like that doesn't afffect warranty , just simple things maybe sticker bombing if you like that kinda thing !

Sorry to hear about the engine buddy ! always pays to go specialist as you say , im a mechanic myself and even i decided let birchdown do mine as i couldnt get the locking kit at the time and wanted a dephaser doing ! Hope you can sort it buddy !!
