LOL just because there are cheap/s**t plasma's out there it automatically makes the technology s**t? I spent an age researching both earlier this year, anyone with any knowledge will agree that Plasma is best tech for PQ currently. Plasma does have its issues though.

Forget LED. Plasma is the way to go. Samsung or Panasonic are the best. My choice would be the Panasonic 42ST (£700 iirc).

TBH I agree, if/when I get one I'll probably need a cd drive too. Also bugs me that you can't upgrade the ram in the 21.5" model, means to spec it up I'll need to pay apple tax on the additional ram. I'd love a 27" but I honestly have no need for the additional screen estate.

I'm still loving my SwitchEasy Tones case. Still looks like new, very slim and offers more than ample protection. Probably the best case I've ever bought and I've bought a few over the years.

Go for that one if the reviews are good and it'll fit. I was going to suggest a Samsung anyway. You might want to take a look at AVforums. I wouldn't bother with 3D, especially on a TV so small.
