Agreed mate, for the price the Denon is definitely up there with the best of them.
I guess it's all about profit margins at the end of the day. What one person deems as s**t another might like, at the end of the day everyone's hearing is different.

I'd be put off one because of the repair costs (we know plenty will go wrong).
I'm guessing on the above basis depreciation will be mega.
No as the screen on this generation is bonded so no easy job to open and if you do you have to replace the seal.
Possible but definitely not a job for the average techie.

I can only think that they're selling that many base spec 21.5" models that they feel they're losing out by not offering the fusion as an option.
Yes it's awesome, I've got it paired up with a a set of Mordaunt Short 1XR speakers and BK sub.
Marantz kit is very good.
I think I paid between £400 and £500 for the amp.
Being able to stream music wirelessly (AirPlay) from your iPhone or iPad anywhere in the house isn't a gimmick IMO. Same...
I've got the Marantz 1602.
It's awesome and much more compact than most other av amps.

It's been superseded by a new version now.
I agree its very good but it's all depth, no pop.
Despicable Me has both and is therefore, IMO, the better showcase.
I love both movies but if I was to pick one to showcase my TVs 3D capabilities it would be Despicable Me.
Not everyone likes pop though so this point alone needs to be...
How does it look when looking down the panel?
I've spent more money on PDR than most, there are definitely some cowboys and magicians out there.
Photo's can be deceiving though, the amount of times I've seen a dent removed but ripples left is frightening.
