Yes, or you have a cracked abs ring. Or they have forgotten to put the spacer washer behind the disc, which a lot of places do.

I wouldn't get so het up over the engine. It's just the price.

If they were non genuine disks, the abs ring might be too narrow and you are getting a iffy signal.

Ours just clamps the ring together tight.

If the shock just drops down with no resistance, it's fubared. I would expect it'll be fine, don't worry.

This was at Silverstone (of course), always trouble there. He couldn't understand that our series rules didn't require rear lights, and just kept spouting about blue book page ladida ladida ladida. You cannot argue with them, it just makes it worse. Get some good ones,, and some bad ones.
