I think the problem is everybody knew that the forza damage wasn't mindblowing (although bumpers, wingmirrors and spoilers do come off rather than just scratches) but GT5 was pushing having proper damage with full deformation etc.....I'm guessing when they said it would be out soon and then...

Like Clart says...I don't know what people where expecting. IMO the demo was superb especially considering the 1 small track and 5 cars....to have hundreds of cars and loads of tracks THEN all the painting/tuning/photomode bits before I even mention the huge online game choices means it will be...

Its all about the throttle control....I remember Martins stripped to the bone hybrid getting 5.2 or less 0-60 (properly timed) without tb's/charged so a heavier but more powerful car launched well would be around the same as a V then would pull away...as Ali said Jons ph1 was the same as that...

lol I love how if results are low it is seen as realistic yet we all know that the engines vary hugely until someone claims to get a good result... std 182 with no air box gets 174lbft?!

I always thought the sound was one of the best features of FM2...ok some cars might not be spot on but most sound awesome....that datsun above sounds amazing hitting the limiter and the vid of the aston race car was pretty much perfect imo..especially when comparing to certain other race games...

It won't be as detailed as GT m8...but I would imagine it would sound spot on as most do on FM2......low revs in the Mk2 V6 is amazing and spot on imo Chris
