Agreed. TBH I can't see myself buying another Apple product that I'd use more than the iPad (unless they start making beds, tv's, Kleenex etc).

Fair enough mate, I be surprised if it didn't replace your MBP for basic general usage. I used to use my work laptop for personal use, now I wouldn't even consider it. Pervious to getting the iPad I was of a similar opinion to yourself. I'm sure others will be along to comment shortly.

That's positive. May be the ones that have chipped we're poorly anodised. Mine somehow chipped and wasn't knocked at all.

Yeah life's too short. My iPhone has actually been returned due to a dodgy speaker, I'm currently awaiting a replacement.

You'd be surprised. I'd bet serious money that for 99% of browsing you'd use the iPad instead of the MBP. I was dubious before I bought one.

I tend not to do much downloading, editing etc on my PC. I'm a IT consultant by trade so after spending all day, everyday on my works laptop I've had enough.

I'm amazed you use all three as much as the other tbh. Since buying my iPad I mainly use my iPhone for calls and hardly ever use my PC. I'm staggered by how good the iPad is tbh.

Stick it in a case straight away and you'll be fine. Kind of defeats the object though :(

Put simpley mate the iPhone 6 could be a juicy turd and "some" will still believe its worth the £200+ upgrade cost. Apple not only revolutionised the mobile phone but also the best way to market a product.

O2 online are shipping through carphone warehouse (any returns must be sent via CPW). Sounds like you're buying direct from O2 if you buy instore. Strange on O2s part.

So having spent god knows how many hours with a 4S doesnt qualify me to comment? I get the impression that some feel the need to justify their purchase.

My ex had one along with many of my friends. IMO the 4S is probably the best phone Apple has ever made. I'm into my Apple gear (iPad 3, Apple TV, iPhone 3G, 4, 5, a few iPods etc) but I'm also very happy to say it as I see it. For anyone who's got a black 5 with a scratched bezel apparently...

I went from a 4 to a 5 and yes it's worth it due to additional iOS functionality (SIRI, 3D maps, panoramic pics etc), performance, camera etc. After 24 months worth of use the battery in the 4 was pretty knackered. I preferred the look and feel of the 4, the additional weight added to the feel...

Me too but I'm not going to wrongly advise others who are considering upgrading. It's a lot of money.
