Low light the hikvision DarkfighterS are definitely the market leader, but they cost a pretty penny (Ie £200 a camera upwards).
Most NVRs do motion detection to a phone app so yes you can silence them. Remember cctv is only for detection and deterrent. If they see your dad humping tools in and...

I found this ages ago, and works absolutely...
Id not use that initially as need to get to the route of the problem. Has cat5e cable and that would be doing the backhaul as its distance based im sure.
Pretty sure it goes to his workshop so id hope it wasn't using wireless on a distance like that.
Deco have wired backhaul enabled on them.
Essentially @Andy_con is the deco plugged into the ethernet at all locations?
Is it in router mode or Wireless Access Point mode?
Very possible.
Dave definitely did something like that. But its "always worked" and never had any issues.
Except when the moon is on a crescent and the clocks go back on the same day. Then it doesnt work, for many days until someone prods it.

M365 comes with Windows licence now.
These are yearly prices, note cheaper than MS ;)
Bus Prem = £200 & EX P2 = £72 - Total: £272
In-Place Archive, 100 GB mailbox and messages up to 150 MB, Cloud Voicemail services with call answering, dial-in...
Heres the thing, MS Exchange will never go back on premise. Fact.
However, infrastructure and servers will go back on prem / colo again.
After beancounters realise its a wild west for virtual "cloud" offerings.
cat6, cat5 etc wont change the speeds at all (domestic setting)
Unless you are going upto 10Gigabit. But doubt it.
On the deco, are you using it as a "full functioning mesh" or a wireless access point?
Id disable ALL silly features on it and use it purely for wireless access (it still meshes)...
Sticks on sale if anyones needing a cheaper alternative.

Issue is bandwidth and recording space will increase silly size if you want 60fps. Makes nada difference, remember its a deterrent, not a fix all.
Plus im pretty sure thats a good enough snap for local facebook t***s to find out and report they have seen him doing other things.
60 days? Lucky if you get that.
Had an opportunity to move a client from Talktalk to better ISP, jumped at it and now talktalk have asked (98 days) for their kit back, good luck mate, they moved out of there 90 days ago.
Anyone had fun with the NHS Dumfries and Galloway ransomware attack? 3TB of data is about to drop apparently. That is some breach!
