A good wash, clay and wax.Used some Autoglym leather treatment on the inside plus a good clean out.
Repaired the ECU bracket which I noticed had snapped.
Cheers bud. My initial thoughts were that it may have been a wheel needing balancing but apparently they checked them and they are fine. I'm not sure how electrical issues would cause steering wheel vibration but then I don't know much about it really.
Took my car to Renault this morning due to steering wheel vibration at about 70 mph and occasionally getting an engine warning light come on. They've told me there's nothing wrong with the car mechanically (including wheels and tyres) but it has a faulty upstream oxygen sensor (I think that's...

I had many, many happy hours on my Spectrum. Truly groundbreaking stuff back then.
I've just downloaded an app called ZX Plectrum which is essentially useless but creates nostalgic Spectrum noises. Only those who owned a Spectrum will understand why you'd bother downloading it.
Think I'd have had Xenon 2 Megablast for the Amiga (or possibly Elite even though it wasn't originally out on that platform) and maybe something like Dan Dare for the Spectrum.
Definately attached to mine. Had it from new and I've tried a couple of times to part ex it before backing out of the deal. My mate was going to buy it off me last month but he couldn't afford it, when he said that to me I breathed a sigh of relief! It made me realise I just can't part with it...
Conservative guesstimate based on spray work I've had done in the past - I'd say to get your bonnet and bumper resprayed properly you'd be looking between 250 and 350. Best thing to do would be to get a quote or two and see if you think it's worth spending the money.
Not sure I agree with that. Sounds like a Pandoras Box of problems. Keep it simple and ignore the bloke. Or ignore everyone on here and get screwed over. What's the saying 'You can lead a horse to water.....'
You've got to ask yourself if he's really going to get a soliciter involved over £150. He's bullying you pure and simple. I totally get that your in-law is top priority, but don't use that as an excuse to get mugged off. It really won't be hard for you to ignore him so it's not a huge amount of...
He sounds like a bully. Seriously mate just cut all contact. If its really bothering you that much go and get a new SIM card and bin your old number. Don't give in because you think he'll get off your case - because he won't. I guarantee he'll phone up about something else. He knows he's not got...
I wouldn't take any more calls from him. He's just trying to screw you for a bit more cash. His mate should've checked the car out before handing over the money so if anything he should be the one paying for a new pump. Just ignore him and if he starts getting nasty get on to the police.
Is the 172 you have been offered in good condition? Why is it so cheap? My main concern would be if i sold the 182 and all the stuff bought for it, buy a much older car which could potentially cost a fair whack in maintenance, then be back at square one with no money and a car that's worth less...
I'd have to say in the 8 years I've owned it it's been the most reliable, cheapest and fun car I've had. It has never once let me down, has always done everything I've ever asked of it and always makes me smile. 10/10 from me.
Personally I'd leave little bits like that. At the end of the day it's 7 or so years old now so there's bound to be little marks on it and such. You MAY make it slightly easier to sell but you'll not get your money back. Let's face it - its a Clio not a supercar so just mention anything really...
I'm 38 and I've still got mine (although it'll probably be going at some point this year) so I'd say don't worry about it. If you enjoy it then who cares what anyone thinks.
Personally I think Renault should have done the Clio 200 Raider in the original 5GT Turbo Raider blue (or at least made it one of the colour options...) to have made a better connection with the older car but I guess the majority of buyers would have little, if any, knowledge of the 5 Raider...
