    Stereo/clock stopped working

Well after checking every fuse with a multimeter to no avail I decided to disconnect and reconnect the battery which magically made the stereo and clock come back on, thought I'd update in case anyone else has the same issue.

    Stereo/clock stopped working

Just changed a battery and now the clock and stereo display don't work, I've checked the F7 and F29 fuses and both ok, any other ideas? The interior light still works (reading other posts this is on the same circuit I think) guessing when I reconnected the battery it popped a fuse somewhere, is...

    Misfire/holding back

CTS? The lambda sensor solved the terrible misfire when cold, this seems to be all the time and is only slight but I know it's there. When it cut out this morning it was warm. Someone suggested the cat could be blocked, bit of a long shot...

    Misfire/holding back

Lol, I fail! 38L I meant. So on the way to work this morning the car just cut out completely, no warning just died, no power steering lights etc, started up again with a bit of hesitation and drove normally, wtf!

    Misfire/holding back

I got no error codes showing doing that dash thing just a fuel symbol saying 38 gallons I think.

    Misfire/holding back

Changed the pre cat lambda and it made the car 1000 times better, thanks! still got a hesitation though occasionally, am thinking injectors? No codes and I've replaced most other things. Most of my journeys are very short, maybe it needs a decoke!

    Upper inlet question

Ah so it's just a straight tube sticking out the inlet with a hose pushed on it, cheers :)

    Upper inlet question

Quick question, from memory there is a sensor or vacuum hose near the throttle body on the upper inlet which you need to disconnect to remove the inlet, is it just a push fit? Am sure I tried to remove it last year and it wouldn't budge, don't want to snap it off.

    Misfire/holding back

Someone has suggested could be fuel filter issue (blocked) car has only done 85k, is it usual for the filters to get clogged up? I see the service interval is 150k, how hard is it to get to the filter to check? Thanks

    Misfire/holding back

Hmm so checked the code and it had gone, checked and replaced the coilpack (even though it looked mint) and still got the same problem. Is much worse when cold, leads/plugs you think? Any other ideas, no codes other than brake pedal/traction control occasionally, but that has always come and...

    Misfire/holding back

Good point, I'll try that first! The garage did say it would refresh with the ignition switched off and back on though and it did get a lot better so assumed it had worked.

    Misfire/holding back

Hi guys, my 182 has started holding back/misfiring especially when cold, I put it on a scanner which found the air temp sensor to be playing up so I changed it which made the car much better but it is still there. No other codes came up, does it sound like a coilpack issue? I'm guessing it...

    Boot solenoid problem

So my boot lock broke the other day, took it apart and the little plastic lug had snapped, just got another one from Renparts which I checked internally and the lug is intact however the boot still wont lock, I disconnected the battery to reset the central locking but still no joy, any ideas?

    Grand Theft Auto V

They keep blaming discs/hdd etc, it's b****cks, 1000's of people can't play the game after a quick google search, guessing they will release a patch at some point. On their technical advise page where someone asks 'it keeps crashing if I fail mission x' is 'try not to fail mission x' actual LOL.

    Rover Metro......VTEC kicked in Yo!

This one goes a lot better than a 182! It's just as good on fuel if not better. Of course a 182 is a better car hence why I have one as a daily. I was going to go the turbo route and still might but tbh I want to get it handling spot on first it has plenty of power as it is.

Yeah it's not too bad, still a work in progress, some people love it some people hate it I couldn't care less tbh I built it for fun and it puts a smile on my face so good enough for me :D I don't mean to come across angry so my apologies if I did. I know the guy on MP, I'll be buying some...

    Rover Metro......VTEC kicked in Yo!

It has Watsons coil spring replacement units up front with adjustable dampers, rear is individualised and I have modified new radius arms to accept dampers/coilovers. Has front and rear anti roll bars, poly bushed MGF lower arms (increases camber slightly) but I have a rose jointed set being...
