want to what this stuff inside the quarter panel is, i've removed quite a bit of the interior(Plastic trim, seats, etc). Started removing as well. So is this stuff tar, or what not, and can it be removed? Or is it better to leave it as it is. ​Cheers Craig

My dads front window regulators failed on both sides as well. It was just the spring that always failed mainly because they used to fall apart. Think it was just to soft a suspension really.

My dad had the 1.8 16v version as this. Rear Springs on it failed pretty much every couple of years, plus the electrics went really weird and it ended up in limp mode. But he did have nearly 10 years.

Is there much difference in size of the rear brakes then. How easy was it to change from the valver rack to the 172 one.

Hats off to you and your dad there bud, what anti roll bar are you using for your widetrack? I'm planning to do 172 widetrack setup with the 172 steering rack, hubs, wishbones,driveshafts etc. got most of the bits just not the anti roll bar.

did you ever try 172 coilovers, or is that just a total no no.

Was thinking more 172 widetrack, with 172 brakes (280mm), which then mean i would need 172 brake calipers and brake lines. 172 hubs, 172 drive shafts 172 wishbones williams steering rack, willams arb think would have to have the williams/valver coilovers, dont if 172 coilovers would fit tho
