    Clio 182

They are like 2 small pieces of black tape that they came with from the factory. They often don't get fitted after the front bumper has had a respray. The car looks well, either way. I'm sure you'll have alot of fun in it. I've had mine since new from February 2006 and it still puts a smile on...

    Clio 182

Looks in good condition. I think the front bumper could have a respray? It's missing the small black stickers in the recess on the left and right hand side above the bumper.

Did the Clio 172 cup have leather seat option?

I don't think you ever could buy the fabric/ seat covers separately. Not to my knowledge anyway.

Did the Clio 172 cup have leather seat option?

No the half leather/alcantara was never an option on the 172 Cup. Somebody has retro fitted yours. I'm not sure about the Cup having a spare wheel? Normal 172's did have a spare wheel.

    Door card sealer

I've seen this mentioned lately. 8mm round butyl tape. I'm not sure if it was @DomP182 or @RustyMojo...

    Blasting and coating prices.

Rustoleum combi colour is good on metal. Better than hammerite in my option. https://paintersworld.co.uk/2-5l-rust-oleum-combicolor-smooth-black?gclid=Cj0KCQiA4feBBhC9ARIsABp_nbUXdGm9q6VTLArKNRrA1gvPJ1BEhf1Rir8uLkc0z8LIeh2t8FNixh0aAstdEALw_wcB

    1*2 cup rear shocks nla?

As far as I'm aware the rear 182 and 182 cup shocks are different. I think the 182 cup shocks are harder/stiffer.

Why does everything have to happen at once?!

I'm exactly the same. I prefer a heavy clutch and steering. I hate driving a car with over assisted steering. For me the 1*2 is spot on for both.

Why does everything have to happen at once?!

The clutch in my 182 has always been heavy since new. It's also on 97k ( touch wood it's still got plenty of miles left) I also had a new 172, that too was heavy. I can only assume different 1*2s are all different. I know when I've had hire cars or courtesy cars i feel like I'm gonna put the...

Clio 182 wont crank or start

A bit more info here. There's plenty if you search the forum. If you get the new " blue" sensor you also need the new piece of loom. You could try removing it and cleaning it with a bit of sandpaper on the end and see how you go. Good luck. I hope you get it sorted...

Clio 182 wont crank or start

Crankshaft sensor? Have a search on here. It's been a common problem for years were a car struggles to start. There's an upgraded version that Renault released with an extra piece of wiring loom. The link is just to show you what the part looks like. It looks like the loom is bought separate...

    Back in the fold...

No problem. I wasn't sure if you knew the difference. Flamers are a nice colour. Looking forward to some pics.

    Back in the fold...

Welcome back. Inferno? I think you probably mean Flame Red, that's the only red colour 172's came in.

    Windscreen wipers

What issues are you having with your wipers that you want them to be more efficient? I don't have any problems with my 182s wipers even in the heaviest rain. There's no upgrade as you call it. Maybe you just need better wiper blades?

    Fuel tank problems

So you haven't tried to stick your hand under and touch it to see if it is leaking diesel? It'll take you 1 minute to check. It'll fail its mot if its spotted when they test it. I'd be looking to fix it sooner rather later.

    Fuel tank problems

You'd think there would be a small puddle. It does look wet though. The only way you'll know is to stick your had on the patch and have a sniff.

    Fuel tank problems

Definitely looks wet to me too in the pics. The op needs to get his hand under and touch it and see.
