I've had a quick look into this before as I want to freshen up my headlights too. From what I can tell, the Hella ones are unfortunately Left Hand Drive only, so they're not compatible with RHD cars. As for the cheaper brands, I'm not too sure. It seems like they're compatible but I'm yet to see...
My Phase 1 is terrible when it's cold in the morning, especially with the throttle cable being a bit sticky. I can manage either 1% throttle or 100%, there's no inbetween so I end up kangarooing down the street like a right tit. My neighbours must love me 😬
Said goodbye to the Megane this week, was a properly nice car but was the right time to sell it. Plus I get to spend more on the Phase 1 as well which is a nice bonus. They did look good together!
Alright boys, need a bit of advice. I'm pulling the engine out of my Saab again next weekend and I'm looking at picking up a few nice impact tools to make life easier. A powerful impact wrench and rachet wrench is what I'm thinking, but I'm open to any other suggestions as well. Also, they'll...
Sweet that's good to know. I'm guessing I won't need to re-wire anything, it's more just a case of moving plugs around? And any idea what kind of power I'd be making alongside a 182 manifold, decat and PMS exhaust?
Took the old shed out to the top of Hartside again for that obligatory sunset picture.
Just out of interest, is anyone in here running a RS2 Inlet on their Phase 1? I'm curious as to how it works with the throttle cable set up. And also, is it worth doing?
I know a lot of people dislike the Exclusive's but I think they look fantastic! I'm seriously considering getting one to go alongside my PB Phase 1 once I've sold my Megane. Is the leather interior a bit weird or is it a nice place to be?
I'll hopefully be heading to the Motorist this Saturday for their 'Fabulously French' event in my Phase 1, if it makes it out of the paint shop in time. Would be good to see another Phase 1 there, even if you did just go last weekend!
That seems like really strong money for a car with no MOT and in need of a cambelt change. While the flame red phase 1's are pretty rare, I'd say that's probably worth £2k max if it's not rotten underneath and it's all original inside. Judging by the bumper quick releases, I'd say its had a...
Oh wow that is a bit of a trek away, but it's still do-able. To be honest I can't remember his name but it most likely was, would be a weird coincidence otherwise haha
We'll have to get a picture of them together at some point, don't think you're too far north of me. Funnily enough I was talking to one of the guys in EuroCarParts in Carlisle last year and said he'd chatted with you about your Clio, made me laugh when he showed me how close the plates were.
Finally back on the road after keeping it in storage over the winter, didn't want to risk driving it on the world's worst winter roads that we have in the Lakes. Feels amazing to be back out in it, especially seeing it alongside my most recent purchase.
I'm in the same boat too, just have two left to find. Supposedly the large motorway junction roads can be a tad buggy, leaving tiny slithers of road left to uncover that are impossible to see on the map.
I think you can get the Shelby Cobra Daytona free if you unlock a certain accolade, so you're better off going for one of the expensive older Ferrari's.
Don't think there's any differences beside the name as they're all just standard cars imported into the Japan.
Found this tidbit on the internet: "In Japan, the Clio V6 Renault Sport was sold as the Lutecia V6 Renault Sport because Honda had the rights to the Clio name (“Lutecia” is derived...
Not sure how interested people will be in this, but I'm a saddo so I thought I'd share. I recently picked up a copy of EVO magazine from Feburary 2000, which featured the then new Clio 172. I've scanned the main article for you all to read if you want.
They've just released the 'Comfirmed Car List' if anyone is interested - https://forzamotorsport.net/en-us/news/forza-horizon-5-confirmed-car-list
There's a lot missing at the moment, including the likes of all Alfa Romeo and BMW cars. And a lot of the new cars are offroad vehicles which I have...
