Spotted this at beaulieu, don't think iv ever seen a lutecia over here

Had some Japanese stickers in the rear quarter windows and was left hand drive so guessing its one originally supplied for the Japanese market then imported over?

Maybe the owners in here

Is a Lutecia different from normal V6? Not that any V6 Clio is particularly 'normal'.
Don't think there's any differences beside the name as they're all just standard cars imported into the Japan.

Found this tidbit on the internet: "In Japan, the Clio V6 Renault Sport was sold as the Lutecia V6 Renault Sport because Honda had the rights to the Clio name (“Lutecia” is derived from “Lutetia,” the Latin name for Paris). This made no difference to Japanese enthusiasts who eagerly acquired the little muscle machine and created a market for pristine, secondhand Clio (Lutecia) V6s in Japan."

I may well be spreading misinformation but remember reading somewhere that Japan market V6s were sold as LHD?

Renault Japan ordered all official imports in LHD for the cachet reason as above. They could of have LHD or RHD, but LHD is what their customers would want a French sports car to be and is what would sell better.

The Lutecia's phase 1s have different badges and different (unnumbered) plaques between the seats, they are all final run out models with the later handbrake, large painted boot lock and the later rear subframe (not phase 2).

There were also private imports to Japan from new, so you also see Clio V6's there, again mostly LHD.
