Looking good, glad that exhaust has gone it looked terrible.
Would love to see this car again as would my brother, it's the longest he's ever kept a car and I think the previous owners of it would probably understand why, its absolutely awesome.
Mate this thing sounds like a right pile, I've never experienced these issues with any of my rallyes/gti's/vts's.
Sounds like it needs someone to go through it all properly checking everything over and replacing worn out/bodged parts.
Depends whether you intend to keep it or flog it on though
Nice choice craig, wouldn't like to be your mind on a morning trying to decide which one to drive though lol.
IMO Ph1 v6's really lose there appeal to me with the rear spoiler, if you could put a ph2 v6/trophy spoiler on it would really add to the aggressive lines of the v6 bodywork.
My mk2 golf at .43 seconds.
Was my first time this year as every other year I've ended up working, there was a lot of nice cars there but also some crap cars, wasn't a fan of the bass boys in there corsa b and ford focus either
Re: The life of... SharkyUK's Trophy [& Fred's V6]
The best increase in performance I had was from the new btm system compared with the old yozza, IIRC I gained around 5-6bhp.
I've seen a few of the prospeed exhausts and have heard a few people mention they hadn't seen any increase in...
Would it not be better to put it on a base map and run it for a week, make sure there's no leaks etc, get some mileage on it then take it for mapping? I'm sure last time I saw Fred he mentioned something along those lines
It's a bit disappointing, I'm pretty much ready to sign the paperwork for a spirit blue st2 and then saw those and it's put me right off, I know we've all had the clio's etc with different wheels on but there's something a lot more 'chavy' about a fiesta, lowered with tinted windows, tasteless...
I know where there's an immaculate Blackgold FF 182 with just under 50k on in Peterlee, drop me a message if you fancy a look mate only just down the road from you.
There's another one CW05EET BG 182 with 44k on for about the same money, I did a quick check on it and it's CAT D, the first thing that rang alarm bells was the orange side repeaters and the rather low price for the mileage.
A bit of a shame really hope it didn't waste too much of your time.
Thanks mate that's my old car, bought it completely standard.
I've just found a few from my photobucket.
As I bought it when I was 16
Just before my test at 17
As it was when I had finished replacing gearboxes on it
Gay pic of me and the car at trax 07
Hard to believe that was 7...
Don't really got on here much anymore but really fancying a ph1 for the nurbergring this year, may make a replica in honour of my old one, some pics I never posted in this thread before, please bare in mind this was 4-5 years ago and the 'scene' apparently has changed.
Miss it a lot!
I...
Think I'll drop my car off with fred and ask for a wild engine spec like yours, then I'll get the Vee on longterm loan haha.
Good luck with the next 2-3 months with it mate I hope it all goes to plan.
I'd run a scanguage II in there mate, has plenty of uses.
Wasn't being funny about the wheels btw just wanted to see it wearing something other than f1's ;)
