as above just wondering if hb4 would fit a ph1 clio

i know there will be threads out there but its a simple question to answer are they a straight forward fit onto a ph1 172 and do you need to trim much to get them on if not? thanks y'all

been to a reputable company near me today for cam and aux belt kits fitted and was told £375 all in with a 1 year warranty on the work, i'll let you all know how it goes before you ask they do know what they are doing and they have all the locking tools aswell

just rang my insurance company and declared the remap, coilovers, grooved discs, ebc yellow pads, s/s exhaust and tints, and guess how much extra they charged? ........................ .......... nothin woo hoo i am one happy guy

thought i'd post some pics of the clio with the orrange bits the first post didnt go down too well but i like how it looks

saw a silver ph2 and sure it was a black ph2 with black wheels, in the donut carpark chesterfield

what do you all think? i'm gonna do the calipers and centre caps too and a few other bits too in the next few weeks and get a full photo of the car

does anyone know which wire controlls the interior courtesy light? i'm wanting to wire the headlights to the courtesy light so when you dissarn the alarm the headlights turn on has anyone done this or have an idea how to? thanks

had a stainless stealth made for my 172 and its melted my bumper, what size tail pipe should i have fitted when i go back? i was thinking of having the 182 surround fitted but cant get one untill after the new year what size pipe will i need to have fitted to match the surround? cheers all

as above, i'm having them sprayed on monday - tuesday along with some other bits and just wondered if they can be seperated from the mirror or if i'll have to remove the mirrors and mask them up? cheers and merry christmas ;)

The clutch finally gave up on my ph1 clio sport last week and i have been waiting for the new one to arrive and here it is its 30% uprated springs and cerametalic plates only cost £200 and i even get a 4 year warranty aswell i'll let you know how good it is on friday when i fetch it back

as above really how much to have clutch changed on a ph1 172?

these make a real difference just need a few other bits painting and bay tidying up but i'm well chuffed with the finish

saw an orange kitted 51 plate clio in brimington, "what a joke" why ruin your car in that way?

how many of you think this is good or bad? thinking of changing them from black to yellow i'll try to post a pic if someone can ps them for me

as above my sport has blown a plug out of the threads:( can this be fixed or will i have to strip the head off and replace it?

tyres are 205/40 r 17 17x7jj ET 38 will these fit a 2000 clio sport if its been lowered? before you all start to rib me, they are only for shows etc! cheers

As above, saw her in chesterfield at the weekend i looked over but got nothin back! thought i might have got a look (i was in a clio too) had 17s and an exhaust (i think) couldnt tell if it was the car behind or not,

as above will a ph 1 decat fit a ph2 and vice versa! i know if it has two lambda holes you just block one up just the general shape of the decat is my worry thanks

been ringing round for a cambelt change on my clio sport and getting stupid quotes :rolleyes: so decided to ring a mobile mechanic who has done some work for me in the past and he quoted me £80 would be happy to pass his number around if anyone wants it and see if he quotes you happy too :)

i'm looking to buy new suspension for my clio sport as i lowered mine and the ride is pooooo and wondered which would be the best? i wont be doing any track days just rode use

i have just lowered my 172 on apex springs and standard shocks which was ok for around a week but has gone really soft and dangerous over 90 mph due to shocks leaking, is it worth me buying standard shocks again and risking them leaking or going for a full koni kit my car has done 62k now so...

anyone in the midlands area who could change my standard smd's for me ? i am willing to travel or post them to you thanks
