My sisters 172 (bought from me) has had cambelt failure and is now, for want of a better word, fucked. THe thing is though, I had the belts done at 47k just before selling it to her, and she has only done 12k in 18 months. Surely the belts shouldn't have gone is such a short time and mileage...

HD PVR is ok, but have you got USB 3.0? I use the internal blackagic intensity pro. Here is a sample of my capturing quality (choose 720p) Ive got loads of footage but havent done any montages yet. The USB version of my card is cheaper than the HD PVR and better IMO, give it a look...
