No common issues with the 2.8 engine.. So just check things common to all 9-3's, which ammounts to broken coil springs and check all electrics. Buy mine if you want !

The new 335i's are single turbos now-a-days! The twin tubby version was saved for the 1M IIRC. Lovely car, though.. certainly would look at one 5 years down the road when they've depreciated a bit.lol

I used to average 27mpg out of mine (auto), Not really long journeys but kind roads with zero traffic (start at 3ish) that was being careful... I'd imagine if you add traffic, town work, housing estates etc you might get early 20's.

Yeah it's only a map done. Responds well, though! Turbo X look quite smart but the Haldex slows them down a fair bit and has its issues! I saw that one end on eBay it was fairly local to me... Not sure I'd fancy 100 odd k miles with no history! But at that money it may of been worth a punt!

Cheers for positive comments! Yeah the wheels were spining in 2nd but not too much.. it pulls and matches the road speed at that rate though as it doesn't bog down when you put it into 3rd. They're cheap as anything though.. Good buy.

Lovely car but the wheels look crap IMO. They look too big and I've always preferred multispokes, though. Camp picture, but these are the ones you don't pay extra for. Much better!

Agree.. Mine only revs to 6.5k but it pulls 70 in 2nd and 100 in 3rd... I've not rung 4th out!!! Mine's still standard at 250/260 and manages more than fine with the long gearing, makes it really lazy/effortless to drive. Soon have 400lbft ! :-D

Very impressive gearbox. Is it 7 speed? Would explain the short gears.. I'd love a dsg type gearbox in a car, would also only want it with a warranty. I can't afford new cars with warranties! :(
