To be fair, if someone is changing purely to save money, as the OP appears to be doing, I'd have thought a 05 plate 182 (either Cup of FF - I'd have the FF personally) for about £6.5-£7k would be a better idea. Save a couple of grand in the bargain - not as if you're gonna be exploring the...
Re: wot is a clio 172 cup 03 plate going for nowadays

S'not the 'new' Civic - that's the FN2 or something - EP3 is the 2001 to 2006ish one.
You can tell he know's what he's doing though (after he's found the gear stick heh...), so smooth and carries so much speed.

You're so full of s**t. At least he has a 182 and doesn't just post once a month say Clios are s**t, then the next week saying how he's saving for a 182 - still.

Looks like a great buy for that price to me. And the curbed wheels is just a good excuse to get some nicer ones - Turinis or my new favorite on 182s, SuperLeggeras - although i dunno what they'd look like a Racing Blue. For a full fat though, I reckon that's a great price.

I like the 206 more than the 1*2 (excluding the Trophy), I bet everyone here slates it though heh. I think I drove a Corolla T-Sport once, I say think, because it was that dull I can't really remember. I'm sure they're very reliable etc etc - but a hot hatch, they are not.
