just get an electric one, they connect to the car batter. Have to wiggle the pipe about in the dipstick to get the last dregs out but works well enough.
I’m confused how you lot are finding it easier to Jack the car up, take the undertray off, remove sump plug, get new washer then refit as being easier than sticking a tube in the dipstick and sit back and relax while the pump sucks the oil out.
This is CS, you were obviously trying far to fast for the conditions.
Should have instant reactions, should have come to the same agreement as someone who’s watched it 5 times and knew it was going to happen.
But seriously it’s just crap thing that’s happened, while technically the HGVS fault...
If it’s the first time it’s happened since it’s been replaced just top it up, happens a lot when coolants been replaced.
If it keeps happening you have a problem.
I’m pretty sure it’s this. Basically unless you have an old school just metal key it has one.
Edit:
“Car immobilisers have been compulsory on all cars made since 1998” according to google.
Nothing was wrong with it as such, it just never felt as good as I remember my 182 being, the ride was too hard it was awful, and the noise thing did my head in. I ripped it out in the end lol.
Looked lovely though
Also don’t bother with the orange, it looks same as red, check out the pic...
