It was £70 inc delivery from ClioSpares. I'll send it back and see what they think. I'm a bit worried it will work for them though, as that leaves me wondering what the problem really is.
I wonder how I could find someone with the skills to send mine to, and pay obviously, to fix. Shall I post...
These guys fix them for £70. Is it worth me doing this?

I'll send this one back to ClioSpares. If it works for them though then I doubt they'll...
Hi all.
I received a new heater resistor pack today from ClioSpares, taken from a Ph2 172 with climate control.
When I FINALLY got the old one out, I plugged the new one in and now the fans don't work at all. Plug the old one in, and the windscreen fans are stuck on full. ARRRRRRRRGHHH!!!
I...
The 50 1.8 is the best bang for buck lens around. Yes, it's cheap, plastic, the bokeh is a little ugly, and the AF is noisy and crap is low light, but it is sharp and for the money you really can't go wrong.
The rattle was fixed some time ago now, a local garage just adjusted the engine mounts and stuff and it was gone. It sits fine, although I've got a few cable ties down there holding things in place.
I don't really know how to rate the noise, as it's all subjective. For me though it is perfect...
Could be MullyBaby, he has an Arctic 182 and lives near Mark Cross.
It also could have been me, although I'm sure I went down Newick Lane today. I only usually go through Mark Cross if I need petrol.
What is a starlet?
I wouldn't know where to start with repairing it so I will need to buy a new one. Should be able to get one next week.
However, in the mean time is it ok to just have the heaters running? It's only the windscreen heater that is full blast, and I am not doing journeys longer than 30 minutes each...
Spamming my own thread a bit now, but I managed to get it unplugged so at least I can drive the car now without causing more damage.
I'll buy another resistor pack (:(), although the question about how I undo those bolts still stands. What tool can I use to get into the small gap and undo them...
Do I have to undo the 6mm bolts (if so, how the hell do I get to them as there is bugger all space to undo them), or can I just unplug it? I tried unplugging but the thing won't budge.
Hi all,
My heater fans will not turn off at all no matter what I do. It's the windscreen ones which are stuck on and I can still control everything, including temperature fine. I just can't turn the damn thing off.
I've done some searching and see that this could be a problem with the heater...
Yeah sorry, I was in a bad mood. Fair point on the part-time comment, perhaps I shouldn't offer up that information unless asked.
Haha, good spot (assuming you spotted what I think you did)
Every photographer is learning, whether they're full time or not. I would hope my work speaks for itself, as well as the comments I have received from clients so far. As for the comment about it being a nominal fee, my rates are very competitive considering what I offer (royalty free images...
I bought the speedlight pro kit when I first got into flash photography, I used it a few times but haven't ever used it again. No real reason other than I just never really learnt to use it properly and I just have't ever needed it for the type of shots I've learnt to enjoy doing, got some shots...
I'm a part time wedding photographer and I am willing to travel if expenses are covered.

Hello,
I understand that the P21/5W (380) bulb on a Mk2 Ph2 Clio is a single bulb which acts as the tail light, and gets brighter when you brake.
Mine works fine as a tail light, but when I brake it doesn't get brighter to indicate braking. This is on the driver side. The passenger side and...
Yay! New brake light received, fitted and worked!
I also managed to get the cup spoiler sitting much better, so I am very happy. Realised one of my other brake lights was gone as well now though, haha! Typical.
