The 50 1.8 is the best bang for buck lens around. Yes, it's cheap, plastic, the bokeh is a little ugly, and the AF is noisy and crap is low light, but it is sharp and for the money you really can't go wrong.

The rattle was fixed some time ago now, a local garage just adjusted the engine mounts and stuff and it was gone. It sits fine, although I've got a few cable ties down there holding things in place. I don't really know how to rate the noise, as it's all subjective. For me though it is perfect...

Ok, I seriously can't remove the bloody thing. Before I just cut the ****ing wires, how do I get the thing out so I can at least use the car?

Do I have to undo the 6mm bolts (if so, how the hell do I get to them as there is bugger all space to undo them), or can I just unplug it? I tried unplugging but the thing won't budge.

Yay! New brake light received, fitted and worked! I also managed to get the cup spoiler sitting much better, so I am very happy. Realised one of my other brake lights was gone as well now though, haha! Typical.
