Thanks, I've emailed some traders off here so will hopefully get this sorted shortly. For now I'll have to drive without it working, cracked, and sitting badly. Yay!
So I could a spade connector, then just cut the wires, and use the spade connectors instead of the chunky Renault connection thing?
Does anyone know the part number for the cup spoiler brake light?
Thanks
Is it possible to remove that big bulky connector thing and just wrap the live wires up with some electrical tape?
Are they only £30 direct from Renault then?
Well, I have to buy a new brake light now, as I just broke the current one trying to remove it. Tonight really couldn't get any worse!!
If I buy one of these -...
I received my lovely arctic blue cup spoiler today. Having read numerous threads about it taking 10 mins to fit I set to work on fitting it even though it was getting dark out.
2 hours later, and the bloody thing is finally attached to my car. However, not only does it sit badly (massive gap...
I lied. I just checked my invoice and it was £150 for dephasher inc. fitting. It was the cam & aux that pushed my total bill over £450 :(
Surely for the sake of £150-160 it's worth doing though? We might not be mechanics but I'm guessing the people who have commented in this thread have been...
haha, yeah I went to a guy called Scott from here that offered to do it for a small fee. It was up in Essex but was worth it :)
I don't suppose you know how to fit new brake discs do you? My rear ones will need replacing in the next few months so thought I might get some Brembo fronts discs as...
HAHAHA!
Good choice on the 3/4 plate by the way. Fit it with some industrial strength velcro from Halfords so you can easily switch them if you ever need to :)
Yeah Newick Lane is awesome, more often than not you get stuck behind someone though. The straight is good for overtaking though as you say :)
I love the windy bit with the little bridge as well, just a shame the road surface is so screwed around that area!
Nope, the JMS sticker one is me. Yay! :)
Mine is the one with standard anthracite 182 alloys and the tints (chav :()
MullyBaby has different wheels on his, not sure what they are though.
That'll probably be MullyBaby, I work in the same building as him in TW, different company though. I think he does indeed work at Sims :)
When I read this thread I thought I had been spotted for a moment, then I realised I don't normally go through Mark Cross unless I need petrol (I go down...
Stop caring what other people think.
I'm 25, and my Clio came with blacked out windows. I did care a little bit that it looks a bit chavvy, but then I just drive it an enjoy it for what it is, and forget caring the image I might be giving off.
Yes, it's just a Clio, but it's ridiculously fun...
I had creaking in my car at low speeds and it turned out to be a worn lower suspension ball joint (I think that's the name of it). It was replaced and the noise was gone.
