Aside from going to FCS (and the ones I test drove) - I've never seen another Vee in the real world heh. I always love in these threads how many people have "driven my mates" - there were only 600 sold in the country (Mk1 and Mk2 combined), loads have been stacked - yet everyones mate has one...
And also - "made a nice noise as covers were off" suggests to me those comments weren't true. Anyone who has driven there Vee with the covers off knows exactly what I mean.

Thanks :)
My mate who has a little (not a lot) experience described it as 'bloody hard' heh :) Took a looooot a workin to get there - but we only used the polishing pad because we feared the cutting pad as it was a first attempt and we didn't wanna arse the car heh.

Learning on the job was the order of the day - anyway, taking pictures of swirls it turns out is quite tricky (note to self, tripod of out of the car next time...) but you get the idea :)

I bought a Vee, and drove numerous R32s as I was having this same dilemma. My basic thoughts were - The vee turns a lot more heads, sounds better (although the 32 sounds awesome as well), is much rarer and generally makes you feel more special than the 32 does (or indeed more special than you...
Haha unfortunately I'm away for the weekend - but on Tuesday our maiden polish will be a mates 03 plate black Civic Type R... We're starting slow, softest pad, softest cut and taking our time. We've all inwardly digested many, many words on the internet and we're pretty confident we can do a...
Amazingly fast delivery, best prices, and literally I must have been on the phone for half an hour getting advice and tips from Matt on machine polishing! Best customer service ever, 11 out of 10. And he threw in some free wax samples, and some Anglo Bubbly bubblegum hehe...
I have to walk round mine to get to my front door from where I park in the garden, then usually a glance back as I'm unlocking the door - before stopping my puppy from bolting down the street... (that's not a euphamism)

Don't think I'd have white now to be honest either, it's gonna be WAY too common in a years time heh. Also, looks a bit 'faux jap' to me somehow? Although I must admit, the white cups with black wheels still look fskin stunning to me...
I'd probably have RB or black. I couldn't have a...
Cup is about £2k cheaper it seems from actual prices people have paid. Speccing Recaros is seen as a must - then it just depends what kinda toys you need - no A/C as standard on the Cup for example. Personally I think RB cups with the non-painted rubbing strips and mirrors look a little odd...
Dude *never* buy a car with no service history :) It's either hiding something, like it's never been serviced, or the owner is a thick f**k of the highest order - how hard must be it be to lose a cars entire history accidently?! And do you really want a car driven by someone that stupid?
Dan
Do the clutch mate - no one wants to buy a car that's bust before they start hehe :) I'm not saying it is, but that's what people will be thinking no doubt.
Dan
I need some of these mate - cheers for the tip :)
An to the OP - nice first car that! Clear repeaters, silvertec bulbs, for alloys I think 182 ones or Turinis, and maybe if funds allow some lowering springs? Don't go crazy, subtle is the order of the day.
