I chose a Mk1 because I think the front looks better and if I had a Mk2 it would have to be Black, and I didn't think they were worth the £6k premium (at the time) over my Mk1. I'm in the lucky position to have been able to choose though - but I must admit, I only chose a Vee because I couldn't...
Does it have like flared arches? I'm not too up on TTs hehe :)
<goes to google for research>
Probably a bit of a weapon with coils, porsche brakes - can they be remapped as well :p ?
Dan
I don't like silver cars - I made an exception for the Vee, because it's a Vee heh. Most other cars just look so boring in silver. On the upside at least Iceburg Silver has a hint of blue to it - looks 'ok' in the sun.

'kin tell me about it! 5 hours last week with clays/waxes/polishes etc etc and did it have good reflections? Did it b****cks :)
Detailing mate was impressed with the condition of the paint though for a 6 year old car.
Silver cars are crap to clean - I want a black one :)

To be fair, if the cambelt snaps, it's 99% of the time because it hasn't been changed when it could be. And it's not as if other cars that aren't Clios don't have any issues - VAG/Jap groups are all just too up-themselves to have such discussions. At least we don't have to worry about rust...
Heh, I had a plenty good distance to see in every direction - if someone had been coming I'd have moved...
D1CKY - it was ok because it was fresh snow so wasn't mental slippy - I was still gentle with the loud pedal though... They was a surprising amount of straight line grip tho. Glad I...
Thanks for the kind words all :)
Feirny - I wasn't at the mount heh, that's 'Sheepdyke Lane' just at the edge of Hunmanby.
gjgaz - just the standard 17s mate :)

I recall that the reason you couldn't get a Meg 230 engine into a 197 was because the Meg' box was far too big... However that must be wrong if the new Quaife diff is for the 225 and the 197? Having said that, haven't heard of a 197 box failure yet either...?
Dan
Hmmm, Lee, you spec of Cup would be everything I'd want to be fair. Now, are Xenons, soft dash dash (does anyone ever stroke their dash?), keyless entry (personally HATE that, but I know some people love it) and a nicer steering wheel worth £2k... Well I won't lie, when I look at it like that it...
There is a FF 182 05 plate at my local dealer (Seamer) for £8.5k. Cup 182 / 197 is a bit pointless IMHO as it's not really any lighter, and they're not much cheaper heh. Of course, this is just my opinion, I realise everyone doesn't agree :)
Dan
Have we done this yet? I remember the discussion of the GT, but not sure I've seen the RS on here...

Almost looks quite cool :p

The light fantastic was bought for me as a present :) Hasn't arrived yet - so I haven't had a chance to try it - but from the information around it seems to be basically tailored to the colour of my Vee hehe! My car does live outside, and I've never used a sealent on it before so maybe it's time...
