Yea you can buy a simple silicone bend without the breather pipe for about £20, then you just need a breather filter instead which are also cheap. I just wanted the Samco as I like the design and look of it.

That looks great mate. I plan to get another silicone bend eventually - but I bought the Samco second hand and it came with the alloy bend so thought I would go with that for now.

Ah so they came like that as standard. In that case I may just clean it up, spray it black, and refit it.

Not had it long at all. I've seen the bracket on a lot of engine bay photos, but I've also seen some without it. So I take it I'm safe to remove it? Yea some of the bolts aren't in great condition but this weekend I'll be sorting that out and giving the bay the tlc it needs. The airbox is going...

Hi guys, this has been puzzling me for a little while. What is the below highlighted bracket for and does it need to be there? It's looking pretty ugly in the bay and I want to get rid of it, but obviously if it's there for a reason I'd like to know what that reason is. Any help appreciated :)

Great suggestion - the acoustic valve will be coming off shortly. I have just ordered a nice new Pipercross filter to go behind the headlight, I already have the alloy bend that came with the Samco so this weekend I am looking forward to fitting it all and having a nice induction roar. jesus...

Cheers guys. I've had the springs on about a month now and I think they are great. Really happy with the stance and the ride is superb. I'll be taking it to the Bedford track day next Feb so I'll be able to report how they handle on track!

Yea I can imagine actually. Mine does feel really strong all the way through the revs and really gets going at 5k. I'm just happy that I can spend the money I had planned for the rstuner on something else! :)

Caught the exhaust on a speed bump at work today = snapped clamp and one back box hanging off. Quick trip to Halfrauds for a clamp and now its fixed. I seem to be fixing little niggles every other day at the moment...
