    The connection for me was completly different, both ends were "female" connections for me. Thats non-sport though.

    Either cut the connection off and splice it together or get a new connector, I think the connection from the number plate light has the same connection.

    Generally the connectors are different, need to hack off the connector and wire it in that way.

    Weird engine problem

    Can't see the pic, but if its at the back of the block in the moddle then yes thats it, pull it off, no doubt its been chaffing the wires. This will be the source of your problem.

    Is the black metal box still on the back of the engine, if so its prob eating through the wiring.
