    Clio 1.2 progress

That's tidy, makes a big change from the pages of chav s**te that appears to be the norm for 1.2 progress threads these days. Wheels and height are spot on. If it was mine, I'd be getting some 182 Xenons in there, along with an RS Grill, then just keep it mint to stand out from the rest...

Paint repair reccomendations.. (chipped r26 content)

The way it looks leads me to think it may have been poorly sprayed at one point, it doesn't look like damage to me, more like poor prepping. I could be wrong though, can never really tell properly from pics.

    JDM Y0 - My new project **** PG36 - Breaking ****

Re: JDM Y0 - My new project - Land Rover 1 - JDM 0, PG6!!!! I really fancy one of these, shame insurance is so ridiculous in comparison to its UK relatives/rivals. What's going on with the spoiler Ben? Never noticed the black bit before.

    Most manly cars.

Re: most manliest cars. I really want to buy a s**t one for £500, find a large empty car park and do this for hours on end, would be like going sideways in your living room, especially if it was an Elite complete with leather and grandad-spec wood trim.

Found this upon returning to my car the other day. Removing mark off my rear bumper.

Re: Found this upon returning to my car the other day. Removing mark off my rear bump I suggested it as it may have been too stubborn for SRP to remove without sitting there for hours on end. I'd use G3 (on a machine) as I don't care about swirls and I'd just want it gone, the OP may have been...

Found this upon returning to my car the other day. Removing mark off my rear bumper.

Re: Found this upon returning to my car the other day. Removing mark off my rear bump Advising someone to go through a car wash is a little different to inflicting a few swirls on an area that's already covered in some form of paint transfer anyway, which can then be rectified afterwards with...

Dissapointed in ktec stage 2 tuning

No, it's just CS never forgets. You were warned it wasn't worth the money, and you've now started a thread saying how disappointed you are, what did you think the replies were going to be like?

Found this upon returning to my car the other day. Removing mark off my rear bumper.

Re: Found this upon returning to my car the other day. Removing mark off my rear bump That's genuinely great for you, but if his happens to be deeper/more stubborn than the mark you had on yours, he may want to try something more aggressive so as not to spend all day on the thing, which was my...

Found this upon returning to my car the other day. Removing mark off my rear bumper.

Re: Found this upon returning to my car the other day. Removing mark off my rear bump No, actually the liquid compound I mentioned is the finer version of G3. There's also nothing wrong with using it to remove that before polishing it up properly with something else if you're actually bothered...

Found this upon returning to my car the other day. Removing mark off my rear bumper.

Re: Found this upon returning to my car the other day. Removing mark off my rear bump Farecla G3 liquid compound on a microfibre cloth, bit of elbow grease. Bit of SRP or similiar over the top if you actually care about swirls.

    Cars you regret selling

Cheers, it sounds big headed but I agree with you, the lack of tastefully done non-sports these days makes me weep.

Whatever you do, leave any mechanical work to somebody else.

    roof replacement

Not if it's done by a good panel beater. Replacing the roof involves cutting, welding, removing the windscreen/tailgate/seals etc, much more scope for something to be half arsed or missed.

    roof replacement

Using filler is not "cowboying", it's miles cheaper and less likely to be bodged than replacing an entire roof skin, I know which I'd rather have.

Need to be more specific than that. Budget? Requirements? Usage?

Anyone changed their cup 182 alloys to silver?

Get them powder coated. Why you'd think stripping them would be a better idea than painting/powder coating them is beyond me.
