vaux do make good engines at a RR day i was at about 2weeks ago a astra gsi z20let made 475bhp.. as for VXR's handling i had a play with 1 on my way to work 1 day and he had a rear arb fitted and that thing went through the roundabouts just aswell as my cup which i was shocked about due to the...
yeah bin it.. i had similar happen to me once but mine was the little bit which connects to the bumper and undertray.. needless to say it smashed off and i just ran the car without that or the under tray
yep i was over that w.end as i was back in the north east.. i was parked up in the corner over by mc d.. yeah u get some right fools down there spinning it from the roundabout..
whiteline ARB are over rated in my eyes i used to like it when i had 1 fitted but as soon as i removed it and took the cup for a spin i knew NO arb was the way 4 me.. the car did feel more stable on some back lanes with the arb fitted where as others felt better without it..
yeah that would be wrote off.. mine was no where near as bad and it was neally wrote off.. only fact it wasnt is i told them not 2 bother fixing the aircon condensor as i never use it and planned on removing it anyways
well mine was actually 182.3 bhp with cat back and panel filter on RStuning rollers but spoke to original owner i.e purchased from new and it made over book figures with just over 2k on the clock.. mine is healthy though as iv gone against quite a few quicker cars etc
true as mine was rolling roaded with 182bhp pretty much standard.. tbf he tried to make out he knew these cars like the back of his hand till i asked him a few questions 1 being was the dephaser done with the belt to which i got... dephaser?? so u tell me
On that I think we all agree, and its that which wasnt coming across in some of the previous posts which were implying there was no downside to 95 RON fuel, there is, and potentially in the F4R in particular, there is an issue with the pistons breaking up in extreme cases.
Well im not really...

tbf tho mate look at the graph i posted.. thats only got a cat back exhaust ;) and there was about 3/4 tank of 95 in when i chucked the Vpower in so doesn't seem 2 do 2 bad on 95 lol
lol tbh mines pretty much ran on 95ron and the day of the graphy i maybe chucked a daft 10er worth of Vpower in.. the only difference i find with my car on Vpower is the cold start lumpiness isn't as bad... it does get the odd bit Vpower/momentum from time 2 time but its not religiously ran on it
