Gutted mate :(
Still, chin up, accidents happen - at least your ok, that's all that really matters in these situations. It's only a car - metal and plastic at the end of the day - and it's insured :)

On paper - 10bhp.
On the road in a straight line - nothing.
Twin exhaust and different wheels.
Cup packs are lower/stiffer suspension, chin and boot spoiler and wheels painted grey.
Trophys are the cream - think of them as the final stage of evolution for the 1*2. Even better...
You'll have to work on the basis of 25mpg (and even that might be pushing it by the sounds of it) - although if you commute at 70 and not the 85 a lot of other people seem to quote you'll maybe squeeze that elusive 30mpg.
It sounds like an 'ok' deal, not a great one, I too would be looking...
I think the Vee would be the most rewarding car to master - because it would the hardest. Just IMHO - I thijnk the VXT is easier to drive quickly, because they're so brilliantly setup as standard. If you mastered a Vee on the limit and a track and really got the best out of it I imagine it would...
I like the front spoiler. Wouldn't add the rear one personally :) IME Miltek backboxes sound pretty good, just a little bit louder than normal, but not much.

Just for a little perspective here, they're not slow. You can fairly easily show a 1*2 a clean pair of heals in the real world. Queue a load of people now getting boring and banging on about power to weight and paper performance fig..... *yawn*...........
.....sorry I lost the will to live...
Lovely pics mate :) Although - the spoiler isn't for me personally, I'd prefer something more blended, V6 style :) Still looks top that cup though.

I really like VTSs - very underrated. Would pwn a 1.6 16v Clio hehe :) And isn't far off a 172 for pace (see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yR1c_v1JtcM for 106 gti vs 172). Awesomely playful handling as well.
