The Type-R will give you more cash (although I suspect closer £11k), whereas the Clio will possibly be less reliable, but also less thirsty - and if it does go wrong parts are cheap. Tough call. Do you need the extra space of the Type R?

Is that the new shape Cupra or the old shape one?
The VXR can now be remapped by the 888 centre to 220bhp and you keep your warranty 100% intact - which you would anyway because the dealer would never know it had been remapped - but still :)

Cut out with the addition of foul mesh heh.
Oh it seems I can't link to things in the V6clio.net gallery heh - anyway, go look in the bumper modifications thread in the media centre over there :)

They're not faster than a Mk1 V6 - presumably he felt the need to include them to 'get back' at me as I own one for saying I'd rather have a GTi6 heh. In the dry a well driven Mk1 Vee would hang onto most things handling wise (within reason) - massive amounts of grip till the limit.

Was just going off the Honda figures, so probably at the crank yea. 05 plater, done about 4k miles - get all your fair weather biker jokes out the way now hehe ;)

I have a Hornet 600 I use in the summer - it's only got like 95bhp or something but it's leagues faster than any car I've ever been in up to 140mph. It's unfaired so 140 is where you lose your battle with the wind heh.
Dan
That's seriously awesome.
Yea, the VX220 NA has like, 50bhp less than an Exige doesn't it? I liked the VX NA - but I couldn't live with it over the Turbo at all, it was just not very fast once you got moving. I mean, it wasn't really slow, but it was a lot slower than the Turbo. Felt a...
If I was buying a car, with my own money, and could only choose between an St and a GTi-6. I'd have the 306. I quite like 306s - the ST does nothing for me and costs 8 times what the 306 does - yet isn't much quicker and probably doesn't handle as well.

I tend to go by Evo times that they've done themselves, mainly because they say my car does 0-60 in 5.8 seconds, and that's the best one for bragging down the pub (0-60 times have no other use IMHO heh).

Regardless of whether they pulled away, I'd still have the 197 out of that bunch heh. Couldn't be seen in public in the Corsa, the Mini is just f**king gay, and the Ibiza is getting on about now and whether it pulled away or not, I still don't think they handle very well. GLF with a remap mind...
No seriously, it was up and down some twisty mountain roads, and they got away from the Clio - even the Ibiza. They were surprised, and saddended because it was watching the legend of the Trophy taken over by the 197 or something (can't remember the quote now to be honest - I'm sure someone can...
The interior does the job. It's solid, it doesn't rattle, it has seats and aircon, what more do you want :D
Depending on circumstances and the results of an upcoming hospital visit mine might be for sale around then Wyborn heh :) FSH/Cambelt done (that's a grand)/29k miles/silver/mint. Will...
