It's been too long since we've had a proper lobby. So since we all know Sundays are f*cking boring, lets have a crack at it.
Time: 9pm
Cars: Arcade. Of similar PI. We might have the occasional race using our own.
Ideally, everyone needs to have all the DLC cars/tracks, but I know that's...
Sacrilege.
It's a Nissan Stagea, probably one of the ugliest cars ever made. But it's been crafted to ape the look of the KPGC10 Skyline, which is probably one of the best looking cars to leave Japan. Failure. :dapprove:
LOL @ the rear end too. They've just blanked the Stagea lights, and...
After this winter it needed a bit of TLC. I've had a few car park dings since last May that I've been meaning to sort. As well as getting that done, I changed the oil and filter, and bought some new hangers for the Milltek.
Next on the list is to get the wheels refurbished, the badges repainted...
Awesome car. I still miss it, and given the chance, I'd still have it back if I had the monies.
Really similar to the 172 Cup in how raw it felt. Cable throttle was mint as well. :dapprove:
Mine was a freak too. Only a decat, matched inlets, stealth and remap... and it was an animal. Felt...
I drove one yesterday, and loved it. It's been about four years since I drove the last and I think I forgot how quite how different they are to the porky RS models. So raw.
Cup owners, I'm jealous. Just not of your seats.
Pity they don't have xenon lamps. :o
This is using the recently released Nurburgring GP circuit.
Standard Arcade car only. No mods. No setup.
Ferrari 458 Italia (S641)
Nurburgring GP Full
Benchmark time of 1.59:500
I'll narrow it down after a few people are below that.
I'm sorting out my lighting issue tomorrow and could do with a few pointers.
First of all, I'll be taking the bumper off... is this the easiest and safest way? I imagine it's possible without doing it, but tight for space?
My light went totally pink on Monday, then dull blue later that night...
Added a few new bits to the 182 since my last thread.
I bought a mint condition RS wheel off here, virtually brand new... for £70. Hurrah.
Also fitted an Alpine iPod link HU and hand control link cable. What a c*nt that was. There's literally no room back there for wiring. Anyway, a few grazed...
Really shows how capable the R is. Considering the FD2 is one of their favourite new cars on BM.
The MINI? Well, just watch the video. Trounced.

There's a fair few people on here into Apple/Macs etc.
Post up your hardware/setups. Pics too, if you want... since it's all so pweeety.
I've not got recent pictures since most of my stuff is packed up to move. Will get some of it all together at the weekend, once my new software comes.
24"...
...in the snow. Seriously. Wide tyres + Hard coilovers + huge turning circle = Leave it at home.
Took the lady's Twingo instead. That's a f*cking riot in this weather.
It's the heaviest we've had it up in Manchester, so I took a few pics.
Good one as usual. Standard TBH. Good to see everyone there... some earlier than others. ;)
We pretty much packed out Nando's and pissed the staff off. lol.
Cheers to Naith/Riad for the Nando's blagging, getting us all sat together.
Happy Christmas.
Chris.
A few of mine, after a quick PC...
Spotted you in the covered parking area. I was in the RS Twingo parked across from you.
Your car had a Cup Racer tow-eye... so most likely you're on here.
I didn't take my camera, so all credit to Ian for the few shots he took.
If you took any, please add them in here... although only a few people took them, as it was more of a catch-up meeting. Thanks to Mike (BIFCAIDS) for setting it up as well.
Good to see you all again.
I'll have a word...
A few of of headed up to the Cat & Fiddle today for a run. We made the best of the dry roads and got three or four runs of the whole road in. Then the cloud came in... Still, it made it more of a challenge.
I think we all got a bit twitchy under braking once the roads were damp! :o
I can still...
Hi.
I drove down to Santa Pod today to view Bjorn's DC5. Which was easily as good as I was expecting! :o Cheers mate.
Took a few pictures as well.
Found Malice lurking about, so had a quick chat too. Good to meet you dude.
Mint old skool Starlet with bubbles.
Sticky enough?
You...
Dusted the G220 off and worked on the Twingo today. It's more awkward to work on than the 182, since the lines of the arches make it harder.
Megs products used throughout. Washed, dried, corrected, re-washed & waxed. All shuts and glass cleaned and protected. Used two coats of Zymol carbon to...
I've got the Twingo for the weekend, and i'm doing a full correction on it tomorrow. Now we're just wondering whether it's best to remove the stripes, since i'm not 100% on them.
Thoughts? Keep or bin?
Could someone Photoshop this picture, without the stripes?
We need a good driving meet. Sincere apologies for being a lazy b*stard and not sorting this earlier! :dapprove:
Sunday 11th October. Meeting at Lymm Services at 9am. M6 J20.
We'll head up to the Cat at about 9.30am. Few runs up and about and then to the pub for a much needed catch up...
It's my lady's new car, we picked it up today! After a few niggles at the dealership which delayed us... namely the valeters scratching the rear bumper and doing a shocking job of the valet.
We finally got things sorted though, and started the drive home from Derby. Jo drove it on the way home...
From 9pm tonight, if anyone's free?
I'll host, and i'll be online from 8pm ish.
Usual affair, standard Arcade cars, no driving aids, manual 'box.

Renaultsport Twingo 133.
Capsicum Red, Cup Pack, Bluetooth, Stripes, Anthracite mirrors and spoiler, tints and iPod connector.
Mint. It needs a wash in these pics, and they're taken on an iPhone, so not the best.
It's the lady's new ride, but i'll be stealing it for a few meets soon...
