You can tell a fake 335 a mile off. They normally also have M Tat all over them and wind deflectors

Isn't it more of a platform thing? They've now moved to a new platform which they can share with model models (Countryman iirc) and spread the development costs. Most people don't care where their drive is coming from, IMO the old M135/140i was compromised to normal folk by the packaging of RWD...
