I think theres a guideline that all cars need to be between regardless of engine size. The co2 emmissions on the v5 is what they use for the tax band. I presume of course, but either way nothing will be said if you say nothing and just let them test
Could be a good question, at a guess i'd say 99% of the guys that might install them diy probably get them mapped again, where i'd presume the mappers would do it?
Totally agree with Bazzon on this one. With a budget like that i'd say you might aswell keep an eye out for a car thats already running itb's and some mods.
That way all you might need to change / add are things like a cage or coilovers etc
I would have thought earth straps. Check theres a good battery connection, checked the fuses?
Get it cranked by hand see how that goes. Any noises when trying to start normally?
I was in Limerick yesterday pity you didnt put this up then, galway tomorrow
Just happened to google this (CLICK ME) and it came up as a replacement for the Odyssey PC-680.
Just wondering if anyone had heard of them, they are around half the price so might be a decent replacement if anyone with the knowledge can shed some light
Could it be more of a high pitched rattle Niall? My heatshield had me looking for airleaks a while back and thats what it was.
Have you the acoustic valve still attached, its down that direction of the car
The mayonaise inside the oil filler is pretty much standard issue with the 1.2s mate. I'd check the waterpump if I was you. Best to get a pressure test done tbh
