Gave the car a good going over today to the best of my ability... Took it down local garage pressure washed it off, then gave it a wash with a lambs wool mitt and some do do juice, then went over the car with tardix and iron x and clay bar, clayed whole car.. polished one side as it didn't...

Mate said i could do it with a g clamp and mole grips, but like you say i'd rather not go damaging the dirt seal or the piston itself. Think i'll wait and do it down my friends work when he's free as he has the proper tool.

Do I need a wind back tool for the rear calipers? Asked 2 friends tonight who were mechanics but not 100% sure if they are or not. Need to fit rear pads going to do it tomorrow after work, and don't want to jack it up and take the wheels off and pads out to find i need a tool which i don't have.

Yeah my little sister wanted it, told her to f**k off. The stuff I had delivered today was the Tardis, Iron X, PB's QD, 2x Clay bars and 2 brush's. The other lot i've had for years, have to give them a good shake before i use them.

I used to have some. Being RB though you can't see many swirls and the previous owner polished and cleaned it every few weeks, may just go for a very good decon. as everytime i wash it i have tar spots etc i cant be assed to get off.

arrived today even with free bubble gum good service from them! Just realised I've got no polish!!!!!

Got a tap just no hose. So can get buckets or water or whatever. I'm want to go halfs a pressure washer with my step dad really.

The bits will be here tomorrow had an email and a text message. Annoying thing is i don't have a pressure washer/hose.. So normally take it to a local garage with a mate, one of us using pressure washer other uses a mit.. get the worst of it off... then back home either another wash or just QD.

I want to get some Iron X, some decent tar remover and some clay bars. Just been on the Car pro website listed above but there out of tar remover stuff... other sites like clean your car etc i found on google don't have one or the other. Anyone link me to a decent tar remover and clay bar...

Realisticly they shouldn't charge... how long does it take to remove a wheel a re fit.

Possibly.. but last week I had 2 new tyres fitted and backs to front swapped around didn't charge me any extra, depends on the place that's doing it I guess.

Or why don't you just ask the tyre place to swap them around for you? Damn site easier when they've already got 2 of the wheels off.

Just from my working environment i'm guessing very dusty all the time and iron filings etc, had to get a pin other day because half of the bottom speakers were filled with clay, now the speakers are slightly distorted.
