the 172 cup im looking at, when i oput its reg into directline it comes up as std 172, even though they list the 172 cup.. hmmmm wat do i do?

What i cant understand is how come some dealers replace them and others don't. at end of the day its warrenty work and the dealer makes money from reno for doing it.

Maybe its down to what type of driving you do. With lots of motorway miles, generally you wont be touching the thumb grips so not getting any wear.???

I went to look at the car today anyway and it was abit of shitter, had a new 3/4 panel, needed 4 tyres, pads, discs, and the mileage was sus quite a shiney steering wheel for 24k, and the servicing issues.. so im still looking!

Ive accounted for brake pads at like 50 quid. Get service at cost probably 50 quid or so, only oil, filters n that. it will probably need some tyres too. what are michelien like? can get these cheap from costco

Yeah it is a 172 cup, out of warrenty dec 13th.. buying next week. just wanting to make sure because im a fussy tw4t and will no doubt find something not quite right and will want it sorting..

Ahh good. When it has its service though the only parts it will have will be like oil filter, air filter and oil.. do these have to come from reno then? and i just take them with me to my garage. get the book stamped to say its been done and still got warrenty??? thanks
