at moment 37.4 on v-power thats average of my commute which sees about 39mpg on motorway at 80ish, and odd blasts and town which can go down to 32-33ish, so about right as mostly use for work.. fill up every 10 days

Of course the 172 cup is rare haha.. end of the day i wanted the cup basically because i liked the look of it over any other clio apart from the trophy. and because it does have that slight straight line advantage it kinda makes me smile.. and i see plenty of 172 owners eyeing my car up... i...

bottom line though is the cup does give you a more focus'd drive and to a lot of people looks a lot better than the FF.. to me thats the reason of buying it and for its rarity factor not the price. find it funny now how the cups are gradually becoming worth more than the FF's hehehe

nice choice mate.. ktec do a carbon front splitter for £100 thats worth getting, makes so much difference to the front end :D get pics up tho!

fair point but if driving both cars flat out im changin gear a lot more in the 197,, if i changed gear less in the 197 id be goin nowhere near as quick hmmmmm.

the gearbox on 197 crap too, nice change but.... you are always throwing gears at it like non stop, in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th area changing gear a lot more than my cup because the ratios are so close together.. but...... you must loose time changing gear this often?

i always use v-power now.. its worth about 2.5mpg extra i reckon on average. and its quicker and its better for your engine, so wat if it costs an extra 3quid or so to fill up with it, i mean thats like 1 pint aint it :D
