Yep. 2009 pre-facelift in Capsicum. Loved it. I'd have another as a daily, 100%. Agreed on the wheels though, if I had another I'd swap them for 16" Turinis.

Have a look at reviews on AVF. Most of the components, including the panel are the same. I was skeptical too, but I'm tempted by their 60" 4K now.

HISENSE are worth a look too. Chinese brand but don't be put off, they're pretty highly rated. You'll end up with a lot more spec for your money.

High-temp silver is a better option than polishing the inlet. Just looks like factory once it dries.

Mondeos actually have a great chassis. I wouldn't call them boring. An Audi A3 TDI with extra S Line badges is boring.

Dale at Bridge To Gantry has a cracking vid on the wet/dry lines on his channel. It's mental to see how much grip you can pick up off-line in the wet.
