Expensive times. :( ...i'm on 33k now, but it's best to plan ahead.
Can anyone recommend anywhere? I really don't want to go to Renault unless i can use my RTE mate, but he's a busy chap normally. I'm just looking at the alternatives.

As above. I now have a complete set of extra engine components, ready to be sent to a metal finishers. I've heard of people using a company in Nottingham? If so, do they provide a postage service?

You didn't see me i think, i was taking the shortcut through the estate when you were at the College roundabout.
A few pics from this evening. I found some amazing back roads fairly close to me, it's nice to have a dry day for a blast for a change!
Anyways, stopped for some pictures. Taken on an N95. And some Vids of my Milltek, the first vid is static revving, the second is a standing start... with a...
I still have no home internet access so i can't really find the time at work to browse. :(
If people could post any pics of my shed that they took, it would be much appreciated.

A few new mods for your approval...;)
It's coming together nicely for FCS now.
Milltek was fitted expertly by Adam and myself. The Milltek went on in about 45 minutes, but getting the old system off...f*ck me, it took us about 3 hours and a lot a swearing!!
Overall, i'm made up with the...
As above. Or do i need an inlet from a 182?
i know the fbw throttle is the same but i'm sure some of the power gains over the 172 are in the inlet? :S the casting is improved possibly? better flow?
Cheers
Chris

Chris
My standard 182 system has recently started blowing slightly at the centre section. Luckily, i have managed to source a used, but good condition system from a member on here.:D It is cut before it goes over the beam i'd imagine, as 182 systems split into two after it.
The exhaust has been cut...
does anyone have the part number for these?
i need two new ones and i've lost the part code for them :S
they are the ones at the back, near the rear boxes with the rubber damper inside.

Had a great meeting today in Stoke, Jamie and myself had some bits to drop of with Mark so we had a meet at the same time...a lot more turned up than expected though!
It was really good to finally put faces to names too.
Proper good laugh. Cheers to everyone involved.
Don't forget my PM...
Had a blast over the Peaks tonight, on my way home from work. Slight detour but i just didn't want to stop driving.:o
Some really great roads up there too, around Darwen and the edge of Lancashire. Some really twisty 2nd gear jobs...ESP off time. ;) Had a play with a Leon Cupra too...bloody...
You followed me up the A49 for a bit. It looked mean from the front.
Standard car by the looks of things. I was in a low Racing Blue 182.
Anyone on here?
Chris
Going through some old pics...i really miss that car now.
If only it was one of the last X plates and had 30k less miles, i'd still have it...probably.
It did look mint though...:dapprove:
The fella that bought it has still not shown up on here, even though i flyered the car and left the...
I fitted the carbon battery cover today, with the help of Andy's guide. Cheers fella.
Also bunged the carbon fuse box on to match. CTR aerial now added too, not sure if i've posted since.:D

I managed to get it for a bit cheaper than it says there too. ;)...
Driving to work this morning i saw a Albi Blue 197, i was just thinking about how tasty it looked from the front as he got closer...
As he got closer still, i noticed that he was looking distraught and banging the palm of his hand on the dashboard in random places. pmsl!
...it would seem...
A good meeting today...if a little dusty.:dead:;)
