Yeh thats not how they go together at all. Was just for the photo. Top rubber goes other way round with big metal washer on top of it.
I have got a contact for spares but before i did that just wondered if theres anything else i can use as i'm only missng the top rubber!
The hole is larger on the Koni ones and also they are like rubber bungs. When you screw on the nut, the rubber compresses and fills the gap in the top mount so that its a very secure fit.
They look like this when uncompressed -
Cups have got a wider axel and are very slightly lower and have different bolt spacing on the shocks.
You can see in the pic where the bottom hole had to be "moved" and then a washer was welded over it for extra support.
That'll be standard suspension only mate.
FK dont make suspension for cups i dont think!
I have Konigsports but they had to be modified by redrilling one of the holes at the bottom of the front shocks!
Not sure really! Would love ITBs but no way i could justify the costs! I've got new wheels coming LOL and then i want to sort out the air intake as i want more noise but without loss of power.
The fans were blowing into the front grills which obviously doesnt do anything on a Vee so Mace blames it on that LOL!
Should have had fans blowing air into the pods.
LOL! Really? Well i've never heard of that!
You plug the cable in, load the software and theres like 2 big buttons.
One lets you backup the original ECU map and the other lets you upload a new map which you download from the website. Thats it pretty much! haha.
I say Group N and i dont even know what it means tbqh lol!
Before and afters weren't done and i doubt the remap gave much in the way of bhp gains. However, the remap gives a noticeable increase in low down torque, slightly raised idle which helps with the kangarooing and also fixes the cold...
I've got ITG Panel Filter, Scorpion Decat, Blueflame Exhaust and RSTuner Group N Remap. I also have the RS inlets which are supposed to be better/similar to standard ones being matched.
