What an afternoon, half a tank of optimax later and engine worn out we have a result, which incedently was all captured on video camera

Having a race with a 106gti later on. How do you think i will do? Its modded only chip/filter/zorst/de-cat and mines still standard although mine does seem to be quicker (according to figures and previous races) than a standard 16v.
I rekon 1st , 2nd will be the same then 3rd i should have...

Changing down into a lower gear at high speed can cause some serious damage especially when the speed exceeds that gears capability. Im not exactly sure what would go but it cant have done the gearbox and engine any good at all, most probably loosened the box up a bit.

Still defo up for a track even better a cliosport track day. Fed up of meeting cars on blind corners coming the other way using the racing line.

Just had my drivers side bearing replaced. Made the same noise as your explaining.
It cost a whopping £49 from Renault and you have to fit a renault one cos all others are sh*t.
I am still waiting for a bill from my mechanic for the price of labour so when i get it i will tell ya...
