best way to find out about engine speed and gears joining is to drive...
well, my advice, for what its worth, being probably the longest standing williams owner on here, stay away from the 3s. the roof will buckle eventually, sunroof ffs, its a drivers car ;)
as stated above, main diffs between them are the ph1-2 trim diff.s. but the 2 has door bars etc, which add...
lol. was gunna say. im going into there at about 80 ish, changing into 4th on the exit, about 95 ish. if you tried taking it at 110-120 im not surprised it ended in the gravel lol.
i am being fair mate. hes overpriced imo. far too much for my budget. so did it myself at a fraction of the cost, and with better results
could the same be said for mine then?? too powerful?? lol... bolton meet.
think thats more to do with badly set up suspension, for the...
back on topic. theres no 1 up here tbh mate. i nearly used gdi about 5 years ago now for a btm end balance/lighten, found them far too expensive , so , built my own engine. havent looked back since. has beaten cars from pretty much every recognised reno tuner with same ish spec, and has...
hes not too bad .as long as ur dealings with him dont involve money lol.
saw it as i was lookin round his unit for a new bike for jim. lol. dave was torn between a buell and a duke, nearly bought taig a peewee 80 , but he would deal up on his 50s....grrrr lol.
lol.i was looking at this last weekend. its very local to me.
absolutely nothing left inside..dash, seats , carpet, evrything has gone.
was up for £1700 in the unit. i asked if theyd take a grand, as thatss all its worth max tbh, and he laughed at me llol. needless to say hes had it...

fireman, scaffolder, oil rig worker, deep sea welder, deep sea fisherman etc etc etc.
the list of jobs more dangerous than driving a car goes on.
and on

nah mate. rust is what happens to most of the discs on the williams'. but thats cos they dont get used. which is also why the calipers seize up, fortunately i dont have that problem ;)
cheap halfrauds discs, and some new ferodo ds. another unknown ds series pad in mine, but the last set ate 2 sets of discs, may as well only use cheap uns lol. never had a bit of fade from em.
the new ones , again cheap halfrauds discs, the pads seem to work ok, dont seem to have the bite...
jon. the gear set from frank at avanti was around the £1300 + mark iirc. this was just a s/c c/r gear set, if you included the solid shaft mod, and the lsd, the box came to around £5k built
the group buy on these would knock around £500 off this for a total of 5 boxes.
the other...
Re: My mk1 track car blog
from near halifax mate.
standalone ecu would cope with the wiring, altho like u say bumps up the cost. but then the vag unit also bumps up the output by quite a lot, so would be well worth doing in the long run if you plan on modding the f4, which tbh, if you...
are those adikt buzz?
i had those on my black valver, bout 6-7 years ago now, they were 16s tho. looked the nads ttbh, filled the arches very nicely. 205/45/16s werent cheap tho lol.
Re: My mk1 track car blog
lol.no need to explain that to me mate lol. im a yorkshireman too ;)
personally i would have gone the vag route if you wanted to be diff, only 1 more of those around too, but you have the added bonus of fitting a reliable engine as well. and would probs have...
Re: My mk1 track car blog
looking good fella. one question tho. why the f4r? i know not many are around, but surely if you are on a budget an f7r would have worked out cheaper
