how is it down to halfords?its a product,if its display it means its been used which means it been bedded in for use so its less likely to blow than 1 right out the box
not all halfords have tossers for staff,it can be done for less than 10 quid, you need to buy a line output converter, you will lose a set of speakers, either front or rear, as you use the channels to wire in the sub then just wire it like you would normally a sub and amp,6.99 iirc from halfords
that only fits the new mk3 clio and megane, will not solve your problem,no way to clip it,your old fascia must be broken as ive never fitted a jvc where a fascia surround doesnt stay on unless the clips are broken
lg units and not particularly good brands,ie ripspeed, etc as they have both leads into the block, other companies like pioneer, alpine etc always put these wires on bullet leads so that they wont cause these problems, cheap companies dont care, they just want to produce cheap radios and not do...
its cos the lg's have the antenna and remote leads connected straight to the block so will send a signal to whatever is there, make sure he cuts those 2 wires on the lg loom so they dont send a signal, problem solved
