yep is exactly the same part that blaupunkt lead,these are available for all makes of radio,im using one in my pioneer unit, the part on amazon you are referring to is possible to use,connect it to the blaupunkt lead but there will be no difference in sound quality

gps quick fix only needs doing once,it basically records the position you are downloading from and then that is used first to guess your location

using the mic youd just hear what you said already doing that...pointless but you can hook your phone up to play music if you can make the phono version then order a lead from sony ericcson or any other site that does it

fm transmitters are pants,you pick up what everyone else is playing too. none have a 3.5mm jack,none have phonos, you need to get a lead like this http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o288/mrblue182/1greenplug.jpg then make it so it has two phonos (same as rca's) or you can get them pre made...

get a screwdriver which lights up to tell you there is power,only 2 quid from halfords,then use it to check which is ignition live and permanent live,as above the yellow is earth,the other 2 are the power

take the unit apart and replace the spring,dont do so if its still in warranty,if it is,send it back!
