I pay £160 for 4, tyres removed and refitted and balanced. I am in Scotland though so most things are cheaper!

I’d also like to know how you find this out. The other half has a 2.5si z4 and it’s 2008 so potentially this engine also. It’s the n52 with a black cover..

What’s your rough mileage per tank? I’m n53 and around 360 miles for the tank

Really nice mate. They do ok on the motorway but round town you’ll get 24-26mpg at best lol

It’s an easy diy too. Once you’ve worked out the first one the next takes minutes to get out and the new one in. Just take note of the order which the bits go together as I didn’t and it caused a bit of issue initially

The struts were from carparts4less £88 the pair The lower mounts and dust covers were off eBay, around £35 for all those bits. I would recommend getting new screws for the lower mounts if you’re gonna replace them as they rust quite badly

The consent has been given from the owner to the garage. A garage would keep a car if the payment was not made. They risk being sued but I’m sure it’s all civil with this. Do you have any proof that you gave him the car? I would get a lawyer and get your car back

What’s the details on your car? Ie mileage, recent service? Seems strange a fresh filter would give 6hp. They don’t give much power gains with items like filters

It’s a 2018 tyre with 7mm tread. Hate having advisories/issues. Also the rules seem a bit vague on this kind of damage
