Will this tyre pass MOT?

Just wondering if this will pass the mot

Loathed to buy a new tyre when all the tyres are sitting on 7mm and are all matching.

It’s a 2018 tyre with 7mm tread. Hate having advisories/issues. Also the rules seem a bit vague on this kind of damage

should be fine it's only extra rubber that acts as rim protector. Not that it helped ?

That's an 'anti-kerbing' strip that's ONLY job is protect your wheels... it obviously failed on this occasion??

The tester will only advise that tyre as the cut isn't deep enough to expose the cord which would be a fail.
